About Me

Hi, I’m Amanda Morin, the owner and primary caregiver behind Homebound Pet Care LLC.

My love for animals and passion for caregiving led me to start my pet care business in 2019. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to providing reliable, compassionate care, whether that care takes place in your home or mine. My goal has always been to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.

I graduated in 2019 as a dual major in Criminal Justice and Social Work. Throughout my career, I worked with individuals of all ages, from young children to older adults. Before stepping away to pursue my pet care business full time, I spent three years working closely with elders ages 60 and up, including clients as old as 101. During that time, I assisted with securing services, overseeing care, and supporting daily needs.

My largest caseload reached 120 clients, and I genuinely enjoyed the responsibility and challenge that came with the role.

That experience taught me the importance of trust, privacy, professionalism, and consistency. I am very comfortable working independently in clients’ homes, respecting personal spaces, and maintaining confidentiality. Those same values guide how I care for your pets and your home today.

I am fully insured through Pet Care Insurance and registered with Pet Sitters International. I am also actively working toward additional certifications to continue expanding my knowledge within the pet care industry. Ongoing education is important to me because your pets deserve high-quality, informed care at all times.

At home, I share my life with my three cats, Stache, Stitch, and Shadow. I grew up with huskies, German shepherds, and boxers, and those breeds remain some of the dogs I work with most often. I also have extensive experience caring for large breeds such as Great Danes and Mastiffs, and I am confident handling strong, high-energy dogs.

Homebound Pet Care LLC also works with two trusted independent contractors who assist as needed. Each contractor shares the same commitment to safety, professionalism, and compassionate care.
